I bought the Should I Quit journal a couple of months ago. I was so relieved and surprised to find that once I got my emotional scribbling out of the way, I had actual data that could help me. I’m still at my job, but I know why. I’m calm about it, and I see a path forward. I’m buying a second copy for a friend.

I love this journal. The job search can be so overwhelming and this journal felt like having my hand held throughout the process. Being guided through impactful actions week by week, instead of feeling like I have to do everything at once before I can even apply, is so helpful. The most helpful part of the journal for me is the emotional reassurance and the building up of confidence that I would be a great fit based on previous experience and qualities that Mandy makes easy to recognize in oneself.

I’m going through a mid-life questioning (not at all a crisis), have recently taken a severance package at my toxic job and I’m taking time to detox. The last thing I want to do is rush into yet another bad situation so I bought the journal to help me decide who I want to give my working hours to next.
I’m only halfway through and I’ve already learned so much about my old jobs that hadn’t even occurred to me when I was living through them. I’m very much looking forward to finishing the prompts and gaining more insight to what my future employer should look like for my work/life balance.

The journal itself is very good quality. As someone who’s bound books in this way, I can tell Coach Mandy really cares and knows what she’s doing. It feels great in hand and the paper stock is fantastic. Substantially rigid back cover and additional waterproof covers on front and back add a great polishing touch. The binding is big enough to clip a thin pen or mechanical pencil into for journaling on the go.
