Your Intuition is Nonchalant

Your Intuition is Nonchalant

We think that our best ideas are going to hit us over the head, announce their arrival, and make themselves known.  That when we have a brilliant idea, it will be unmistakable, indisputable.  It will be obvious.  The idea will shine bright, be confident; it will be clear that this is a Big Idea that we have to take seriously.

Weirdly, I don't think that good ideas actually work like that.

My intuition, in contrast, is just suuuuper chill.  She slips into a room, hangs out in the corner nonchalantly, undetected, invisible.  She kinda doesn't give a shit.  And then every once in a while, she'll say something so casually like "yeah you should start a YouTube channel" or "wouldn't it be funny if you made a product for that?"  It's so quiet and logical that half the time I don't even notice.

Fear is loud.  Intuition is quiet.  It comes to you in whispers, in casual statements, in ideas that are so normal they don't seem special.  If you're not paying attention, you won't even hear it.  So start listening!
